Come and enjoy the sounds of the Christmas season at this annual free concert! Hear your favorite carols and holiday songs played by an impromptu ensemble of trombone, baritone, euphonium, flugelhorn, and tuba players. If you or someone you know would like to join in the playing, register to receive information about upcoming events. All ages welcome! Music is provided.

Mission:

Trombones on Ice is an event that brings musicians of all ages and playing abilities together to share their love of music with the community at large. Instrumental music is a life-long endeavor that needs to be preserved so generations to come may share in the joy of live musical performance.

History:

Trombones on Ice was founded in December 2001 to provide low brass musicians an opportunity to share their love of music with the community. Originally located in the Historic District of Harmony, PA, the concert is now plays in the greater Pittsburgh area, including the South Side Works and PPG Plaza. Smaller ensembles are sponsored by Lazier’s Harmony Music Studios and play throughout the year for various community groups.
