Recording Studio Lessons
Music Production and Audio Recording with ProTools
In this hands-on course you will gain an understanding of the basics of producing music in the studio with the industry standard in audio recording software: Pro Tools.

Through an actual recording session you will learn about and experience the steps in the production process, including:

• Recording basic tracks
• Using effects plug-ins
• Overdubbing
• Mix-down

This is a course for those who want to set up a home studio or just want to have fun producing their own or a friend's music.

Instructor Bio
Tom Marinelli is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied music and earned a degree in music production and engineering.  He also has a master's degree in psychology from Duquesne University.  While in Boston he performed as a musician and owned and operated a location recording service.  Tom is a talented composer, guitarist and bassist who has been active in the Pittsburgh music scene.  He dedicates his time to teaching guitar and the recording arts as well as producing and recording other artists.
